Now then, Breed 77 have been plying their flamenco-tinged hard rock for quite some time. They began life in a quite terrible nu-metal incarnation, gently easing themselves out of that shit-ridden pigeonhole and into their infinitely more noteworthy current form. Seemingly quite content with their current trajectory, the Gibraltans deliver some harmless, mid-tempo stadium-esque rock that’s more built for filling the mid-size venue circuit than Wembley.
Having had some time away from the touring scene, they are more than happy to have sold out the Underworld tonight and are also threatening slightly bigger things for the future. Tonight’s performance has much of the crowd singing along to their set, especially the older and more hook-laden numbers. The more recent material, from their not-unimpressive new album In My Blood, will surely stick eventually; but as it is of a less obvious and more interesting nature, it will most likely take until the next tour to endear itself to the band’s audience.
It is unclear how many people here are newcomers and how many are members of Breed 77’s hardcore fanbase, but with the band happy to keep making music, touring and picking up fans along the way, you can be certain that this won’t be the last you see or hear of them.

...
it amazes me that this band are still going, i saw them in '99 and thought they would be over within the year. Fair play to them, got to respect that sort of determination.
still dont like the music though.
