Libor Spacek
The rising Sun arts centre is a pretty odd venue for a gig, there is no stage for a start and half the time it seems to be used for tango dance lessons. Having said it does have a really warm atmosphere that sets is apart from other venues.
The evening started off well with the 'Emgima Project', they had a really punchy guitar sound, some sharp jumpy songs and the guitarist looked pretty cool.
Following on from them were 'The November Five' who really brought the evening up another level. I wasn't sure about them at first they eventually won me over. They sounded like Joy Division in overdrive.
The Last band 'Libor Spacek' were really fired up when they come on stage. They had a more prog rock kind of sound. They were all excellent musicians and played really well. I think I would definitely see them again.
All in all a great night. I will definitely check out the Rising sun again. Maybe take up tango!
