Marilyn Manson will don a frock to play the Queen of Hearts in an upcoming remake of Alice In Wonderland.
The singer-cum-artist-cum-actor will star alongside 50 foot woman Daryl Hannah, Tim Roth and one-time Bond baddie Jonathan Pryce in a film which currently has the awful working title of Living In Neon Dreams. Really guys, that's shit.
Manson spoke out about his role to some sharp-eared types that remain known only as 'reporters': "I'm not just playing a drag queen, I'm playing a woman. There's a big difference, and there's more work to do on that. So I'm studying early Joan Crawford, and I've been kind of watching the lady at home, picking up some characteristics. She can teach me how to put my stockings on straight, though I think I've already mastered that."
Manson's best of compilation, called something or other (possibly 'Lest We Forget'), is out now. It's got his horrible Depeche Mode cover on it. Ergh.
