Babyshambles have told Xfm that their long-delayed album is finally finished.
What's more, the band reckon their debut is pretty good, and will turn a few heads upon its release.
Patrick Walden, guitarist with the outfit, told the radio station: "There's lots of different musical genres on there. But the real surprise is that it's finished! Hopefully it will surprise people, it's so musical. It's not what people expect it to be - some shambolic punk mess. I'm really happy with it."
In slightly less positive news, Babyshambles have been dumped from the Iceland Airwaves Festival (running from 12-23 October) line up. The festival's website reads: "Due to the current situation the Iceland Airwaves festival management has decided to cancel Babyshambles' scheduled performance on the festival."
