Brooklyn? Again? Growing aren’t on this new compilation put together by the borough’s Rare Book Room Studio but a vast herd of other brilliant acts are.
Acts like Telepathe (pictured), whose ‘Chrome’s On It’ is one of the best tracks I’ve heard all year. Eyes peeled for the three of them to feature heavy on DiS in the coming months, before this compilation is released on the 26th of February.
Other contributors to the two-disc Living Bridge include Blood on the Wall, who just announced the coming of their third album, Animal Collective’s Avey Tare, Black Dice, Enon, Deerhunter, Fischerspooner, Silver Jews and Jewish.

Drawing back from writing the rest of the article in the manner of an Hasidic Jew, it’s worth mentioning that with this it’s all exclusive, barring the Silver Jews effort.
It’s also all homegrown, in a way, every track on the debut release for Nicolas Vernhes’s Rare Book Room Records being recorded at Nicolas Vernhes’s Rare Book Room Studio.
