Don’t all cry at once but there'll be no London Fleadh Festival this year.
The annual celebration of Irish tinged music from around the world has recently been held in Finsbury Park around the same time as other events taking place there. However, it has been cancelled this year because the organisers claim ‘they could not find a suitable headliner’.

The real reason for the cancellation, is that it’s being sold off due to its unprofitability.
2001’s Fleadh famously saw a ruck develop between Ash and Starsailor before Neil Young played a three hour set in front of a field full of muddy, drenched alcoholics with their daddy’s eyes.
