Adema used to have a gimmick - like all nu-metal bands must – in that their lead singer Marky Chavez wasn’t merely a Hispanic scally but was the (get this) half brother of Korn’s Jonathan Davis. “Kerrching,” said the major label record company and released their debut album to the tune of over a half million Americans’ wallets flapping open and empty in the wind. Once the notoriously ‘difficult’ second album bombed, “I’m too tortured and stuff for this,” said our mate Chav and quit.
Cut to now and Adema have a new singer, a new label and have just released a painfully generic, and ultimately crap, nu-metal album, even by their standards. Party like it’s 1999. Adema sadly are.

Fact of the matter is Marky is perhaps one of the worst songwriters in existence and has an awkward voice to match. Should tell Jon to give it up while he's at it, Korn's really wearing down with that self-absorbed shit. It's like Maynard from Tool said:
"The whole idea is to get it out: Write the song about it, spout off about it and get over it. I suppose I could repeat myself over and over again, but what's the point of that? The idea is, if I can't heal from my art, then how can you heal? So I've worked some things out and moved on."
So to all those nu-metal whiners - shut up and move on with something more inspiring, if it's even possible with the genre. Good riddance to Chavez.
