Despite positive press attention and some high profile live spots for quite some time, this is the first 'Schools offering to be made widely available to the Great British Public, as a precursor to their soon to be officially released (but actually out for some time, really) album, 'United By Fate'. The tune is based upon the fattest of riffs, I mean, this is lick the pan after frying sausages fat. Not thrash enough for hardcore, this is more akin to Queens Of The Stone Age heavy, with a nice selection of insistent drumbeats and off-kilter guitars it builds to a nice venue wall bending crescendo. Anthemic, in a non self-conscious kinda way. It’s not Emo, it’s not Nu Metal, it’s RAWK. And that’s a description, not a label. Maan.
