The third track taken from Idlewild's official "breakthrough"
album, Live In A Hiding Place brings more of the same atmosphere
established by it's predecessor, American English. A reflective,
largely acoustic, strum with a similarly towering chorus. It's
nice in a not objectional daytime radio friendly kind of way.
Though perhaps a step back from the standard bearing anthem that
was You Held The World In Your Arms it's still comfortably
superior to standard issue Travis-lite dross.

More whinging angsty crap. Fair enough they've always been whiny and angsty and to some extent crap but at least they pulled off the punk asthetic well.... Roddie can't write this kind of thing to save his life. They were good around about Captain and 100 Broken Windows, but now they're like a rubbish REM or U2. Great breakthrough lads. Go listen to Kids Near Water or something.

And very much like a certain green day song if you ask me.
