That make no sense? I make no apologies - the flapping tongue that impedes my vocal praise for Brighton's Pipettes has apparently spread to my fingers.
Backed by the equally wonderful 'Judy' - a swingin' Sixties soulful serenade aimed squarely at the lost and disaffected covering their imperfections with braggadocio and aggression; bullies, basically - and the fairly throwaway (but no less lovable in the short term) 'Simon Says', 'ABC' is the blindingly blue-skied start to the summer, pressed onto limited-edition wax and shipped straight into the heart. Buy it, grab a stick of rock for a microphone and join in...
"A, B, C, one, two, three, X, Y, Z...!"

Yes they are 'fit' but so what? So is Louise Nurding and I've never bought any of her records.
Re: The Pipettes - ABC
Anyway in relation to their (and in particular rose's) attractiveness its just one of those things that people are going to comment on, especially given the whole costumes and co-ordinated dancing that the pippettes employ. The fact is that they're performers, and while some people get all high and mighty about how it should purely be about the music etc, bands perform live, and hence should put on a decent show, how they do that is up to them.

The Magic Numbers (although being marginally less attractive....haha) and without consciously putting on a 'show' as such were fantastic....maybe this had something to do with the quality of the music.
Didn't realise the Pipettes are from Brighton....guess my comments will ruin my chances if I bump into them in town (as if!)
