Biffy really do 'do pop' this time around. And they bludgeon it with slabs of art-joy. ’Glitter and Trauma’ is the opening slice off of their forthcoming (and frankly, fantastic once again) third album ’Infinity Land’. Guitars flutter over tribal tubthumping. Simon's lyrics glide in that tried and tested psyche psychedelic Biffy way. S'all rushes of imagery and reality inflections: “You, you are, you are the human strobe”. We’re lost in music.

The b-sides are noizy and once again full of ideas which we’ll only truly understand and appreciate in a decade's time. But the single's great and Biffy are now a true force to be reckoned with. Without pop subversion, without polluting the mainstream, none of us would be here today. A generation of Busted fans need guidance. The revolution will not be homogenized.
