Couldn't agree more. This is a horrible horrible record. I saw them at the Pilton Party and I could only think of one reason why the press is going on about them so much. I think you know what I mean... it was a millstone around JJ72's neck and it'll be one round theirs, because of the idiocy of the press.

I saw them at Glastonbury. I was blown away. I was so supprised that they were an unsigned band, and they were well deserving of winning the competition, and also being bumped up to play the Other Stage.
I saw they were playing in Leeds last week so I thought I would check them out. I thought I would get in contact with their manager and ask if I could do an interview with them for a website that I write for, and he got back to me saying that would be fine.
I interviewed them before their gig in Leeds and they were really great people. They even put me on the guestlist for their gig in York a couple of days later, and I went to that and they were just as good. Really lovely people. Fantastic music as well. Such great stage presence. So great in fact, that I'm going down to Exeter (from Leeds) next weekend to see them.

i saw the subways live in Jersey in september after hearing about them at glastonbury. i thought they were great and i was lucky enough to get a copy of 1am. i listen to it all the time. i love it. LOVE IT!

I heard they were forced to release this because they had nothing else ready.

Dunno mate. Worst signed band in GB has to be Maximo Park. The Killers but really, really shit. Subways good at what they do. Maximo want kicked in the pods. And you can quote that one.
