"Sheila goes out with her mate Stella,
it gets poured all over her fella,
cos she says he ain't no better,
than the next man kicking up fuss"

And so it goes. Another day in the life of one James Treays, as his folks would probably call him, or Jamie T to you and me.

Note to those of you that didn't think his misadventurous world full of halfwits and misfits couldn't get any more enlightening and dangerous - think again, because it just did. If 'Salvador' was the tip of the iceberg then 'Sheila' is the aftersun meltdown. Packing in more influences than the whole of the Virgin Megastore's music section and spitting out rhymes about the aforementioned Sheila, Georgina the "clean young mess" and "smack Jack the cracker man", Jamie T has turned street culture and folklore on it's head with one four-minute swoop that will only establish his position as one of the most invigorating new lyricists of the 21st Century even further. And probably make him a star to boot.

Class.

It's been ruined...

By the god awful over-production...

LONDON!!!

The productions really quite flimsy but it's still a great track.

song of the summer?

i think so.

It's a great track, sure

But do you not think the production is a little over the top? I've seen him live a fare few times now and love his approach, this just doesn't feel right to me...

i saw him at the xfm all-dayer

thank god he came on when he did.

until then, i didn't think i was going to get a chance to nip down the pub for some grub...

tune..

a wicked little nigget from Jamie, and nobodies mentioned the video yet either..

I

quite like the production. I know it doesn't seem to suit Jamie's live stylings but I like that it's different from the demo.

It makes an already monumental track sound BIG.

Sean's right, song of the summer.

I don't like this song

It's really boring. Everyone lays into Lily Allen, but he's basically the male version of her.

Blimey, i'm agreeing with Mart

This single is currently available in the Portswood Oxfam shop for 55p.

...

Oxfam are always over pricing things.....

lolz

*nugget

..

Although I do prefer the demo version

I think everybody is being a little harsh on this 'over produced' version

This song is class

I've slightly warmed to the "over produced" version.

But at the end of the day the demo version was miles better and what's getting put out there is wrose. Thats what annoys me.

They should've just tightened up the demo version.

But yeah, classic track.

One more time:

LONDON!!!!!

SERIOULSY????

PLEASE.. THIS BLOKE IS A WASTE OF SPACE
