A catchy chorus, a whiny voice and 'heartfelt' lyrics. Why do we have to keep hearing the same singles over and over and over again?.
This isn't even necessarily a bad song, but it's been done better a hundred times before by a hundred different bands. It's boring now. It's inoffensive to the point of being offensive. It's bland. It's every emo band you've ever heard rolled into one and diluted down to something that could pass for - *shudder* - pop-punk.
If you want to hear yet another of these bands, and one with ridiculously long song titles at that (something the press release seems to think is a good thing), then Moneen are excactly what you're looking for. If you'd rather save money and listen to the records you've already got, don't bother with this song.
moneen are amazing...
that is all.
amazing
as in bewildering?
nope...
as in brilliant. easily the best live band ive seen in ooooh, years.
so there....
moneen arent shit
Moneen are neither typical emo or poppunk ...not that that should matter anyway
I reckon they sound more like a band from the rockier end of emo with a dash of Oceansize like prog-indierock
Sorry, this is fucking emo
It doesn't matter because they're MTV-size anyway and could care less what people say about them as long as they shift units and get bjs from all their teenage fans, which they will.
This stuff is the death of music.
hmmm.
they're actually nice dudes, and FAR from your typical 'people in a band' stereotype.
i actually couldnt give a fuck because The Red Tree is a killer album and has way more to it than just being a another emo record.......
and how can anything be 'the death of music'? apart from maybe a ban on noise....or everyone going deaf?
I actually like Moneen
