I am therefore always happy to engage other humans in conversation as speaking repeatedly to birds (all of whom I feel would prefer to eat me than chat to me) in a series of 'squawks' is giving me a sore throat. --------- I am a little over 6 foot tall which means my eye level is at exactly the same height most people hold their umbrellas. This gives me some cause for concern on rainy days, especially around Christmas time when Manchester is somewhat busier than usual. If anyone would like to buy me some safety goggles for Christmas next year I know of 2 white spherical organs that will be eternally thankful. --------- I realise safety goggles are relatively cheap, however, most of my money goes on fish to pay the seagulls' protection racket, so no, I can't afford any of my own. --------- When I grow old, down, wide and sprout a monocle, I would like to be Patrick Moore.
