just bought the split EP and am enjoying it very much!
can anyone recommend the works of these two bands? i especially love the twin zero side of this split, and the joint track, though im aware this isnt thier typical sound

I didn't really go for 27 when I saw them live recently. To me they felt like a lot of bands do when they're influenced by OK Computer, that is to say all very muso and 'floaty' but somehow totally missing the agressive edge of tracks like Airbag and Electioneering that stop the album being kinda dull.
Or something. They were musically excellent in any case, they just didn't light any kind of fire in me like This Ain't Vegas did straight after, or Eagle Eye had before.
Twin Zero's albums called Monolith and it's class, there's also an uber limited 7" out (about 200 copies or something), not a big 27 fan myself but the split kicks ass
