my parents and grandparents are/were all welsh.
one of my great grandparents was german.
i have a shitload of relatives who live in australia and i guess count as australian now.

i'm from north yorkshire and consider myself english but still feel that i have a lot of welshness inside me.

I'm half Dubliner half Islingtonian but I'm possibly about 1/16th Jewish...

i wish i was more interesting ethnically speaking.

My Mum is from Malaysia, she is of Chinese decent as her parents fled the country to Malaysia from the Communists.

My Dad is from East Anglia and decends from a long line of Fisherman.

I'm Danish, and through my father's side of the family have many relatives in Denmark and Sweden. My mother is English, as is pretty much that entire side of the family

1/3 welsh 1/3 english and, best of all, 1/3 french. yay!

My mother is from Stockton, My father wa born in Middlesbrough but brought up in Stockton. Im from Stockton.

My dads parents are from Stockton, My mams parents are also from stockton. I think My mams Mams parents were Irish though. Or something. I'm also related to Scottish Royalty on my Dad's side.

And im related to Captain James Cook...completely irrelevant, but i like to tell people.

My mum was born to Italian parents in England. My dad was born to Australians of Irish descent in Australia.
I was born in Australia.
My brother was born in Hong Kong.

I consider myself English. As soon as my passport comes through I will be too.

erm, don't know about 1/4s and stuff, but I have welsh and french blood in me, mostly english though. I'm not all that interesting.

So far no Mexican-Mauritanians then. I'm disappointed.

I need to marry a foreigner to give my kids an international heritige.

Then they can represent loads of different countries in football!

I am the product of an exiled jewished family (father's side) who escaped from Berlin in 1938 who after 2 years in Paris legged it to the Isle of Man (there's a lot more to this story, obviously). The generation before had been kicked out of St. Petersburg in 1917 (my great-grandfather Anschul gave me his name in posterity, along with some very nice trinkets)

My mothers side is a brew of celtic aristocracy (9th century catholic royals of Ireland and Scotland) whose family went from a mighty river to an almost dried up spring during the first world war - my gran's mum was one of the 40 million who died in the flu epidemic and my gran's dad was the first person in Ireland to die in an automotive accident when his primitive 1918 taxi met with a horse and cart - the coachman was asleep, the horse had been stung by a wasp and a sizeable portion of the cart splintered through the windscreen and subsequently through my great-grandad after which he died of an infection. He'd just survived 2 years in the trenches. So it goes.
My then 9 year old gran subsequently raised her 5 year old sister and her three year old brother. And when we laid her to rest in february this year there were about 250 family members present who either directly or indirectly wouldn't have been there if not for her.

History is marvellous isn't it?

100% English as far as I know. Half from the Midlands, half from the North East. Born and lived in SW London all my life.

My mum's family are all English and my dad's are all Irish.

I look Irish: Dark hair with blue eyes, which I never knew was unusual until I left my home town Warrington - a town with a large Irish descendent population - and it was pointed out that really my eyes should be brown.

My parents were both born at 30 km from Paris.
But one of my greatfather was from Britain, the other from Normandy and one of my grandmother is from Sarthe ( don't know if you have a name for that ! ).
My other grabdmother was from unknown origin !

By blood I think I'm 100% Indian. Born and brought up in the UK though.

Irish on my Mum's side, but I'm as English as they come. Family tree on my Dad's side goes back through generations of pure Englishness. More morris dancing than BNP.

scottish through most of my grandparents (i think) ... the rest is northern english
